Description: How to make my crowd pleasing Baked Mac and Cheese. It's a favorite of my family and friends and a huge staple for holiday meals in my household. I hope you LOVE this recipe as much as I do. ENJOY! 1 lb Elbow mac + cheese 1 c. Whole milk 3 Eggs 1 c. Butter (melted) 1/2 c. Sour cream 16 oz Colby cheese 16 oz Monterey Jack cheese 16 oz Sharp cheddar 8 oz Mild cheddar (for top only) *salt, pepper, garlic (optional) to taste* *Preheat oven to 355 degrees* 1. Boil noodles in water with oil. Add a little salt. Drain. Add back into pot. 2. Melt butter. Add pepper garlic, stir. Then mix into noodles. 3. Mix all cheese together in large bowl. (Do not add the 8 oz of mild cheddar to this bowl). 4. Whisk eggs, sour cream, milk together 5. Pour noodles into a deep lasagna foil pan + mix in all wet dairy products (from step 4) with large spoon. 6. Slowly stir in mixed cheese thoroughly. 7. Top with 8 oz of mild cheese. 8. Bake for 35 mins on lower rack. 9. Turn broiler on Hi and let cook until top is bubbling and/or golden brown. Serve hot + enjoy! :) Note: I enjoy my mac + cheese SUPER cheesy, if you don't, I'd recommend using 8-16 oz LESS of the mixing cheeses listed.
